RIP
Apparently we killed the most industrious mother mouse in the world. Look at this house she built in our storage closet! It even has a doorway (see the piece of paper folded at an angle). We felt sick when we found this last night.
Ummmm, yeah, sure.... that would have been a good thing to do, huh? I didn't even think of it. Actually, Heath put them in a bag under the car exhaust so they would just fall asleep (forever). We didn't know how we would feed them or where we would put them, so we didn't see anything else we could do. I think I posted the pictures as a sort of catharsis after the trauma of aiding in the death of such sweet-looking creatures. I couldn't stop looking at the pictures over and over the next day.
Those little babies are so cute!!! Are you going to sell them?
