I got my temporary license in the mail today! That means that I can start taking clients immediately if I wanted. I am not quite ready myself, but maybe soon. The surveyor will still have to come and check the house, and after she checks it, the permanent license will be issued. Permanent until I have to renew it in a year, that is.
Wow. Pretty crazy. I could really be doing this soon!
Good for you! Darci would be a great one to talk to if you want advice. She did/does home daycare for a long time. Do you know her? She's from GC originally. She only watches one other then her own now though.

ReplyDeleteI love your website! And I just think you will be wonderful. Really and truly wonderful. I wish I had someone like you I could rely on (for the drop-in portion) for when I need someone to watch my kids when I suddenly need to go attend a birth. I think I might look for a home day care option that would allow me drop-in times (if they had space available). Thanks for the idea!
